RHSRNbc would like to congratulate the two recipients of this year’s 2013 Collaborative Team Award! This year’s winners include: Dr. Pesut (University of BC, Okanagan) who will be building knowledge about how to improve care for individuals living with life-limiting chronic illness in the rural community of Princeton, BC.; and Dr. Brussoni (University BC), whose team will be using the funds to develop community partnerships that are essential to enhance and extend rural childhood injury prevention research.
These $5000 awards are to promote and support the development of new multidisciplinary research teams focused on an issue of current importance to rural and remote health services and whose main goal is to apply for research funding.
