In the past 6 months, British Columbia has experienced a heat dome, wildfires, and most recently an atmospheric river that brought widespread flooding and landslides. The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) recognized the importance of building resilience to the impacts of climate change, including extreme weather events and disruption to agricultural systems.
